GRACEFUL AGING Fitness classes for senior citizens
These classes will be small group class with maximum numbers of 8 per class. Each class will be programmed so that each individual can work to their own ability and pace. They will be designed to work on the following
Increase your strength and mobility so you can keep doing your day-to-day activities
Increase muscle mass, strength and physical endurance
Increase coordination and balance
Increase joint flexibility and mobility
Increase cardiovascular and respiratory function
Increase bone strength
Reduce body fat levels
Reduce blood pressure
Reduce susceptibility to mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression
Reduce risk of various diseases including cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Classes will take place at the Body Confidence studio at High Street shopping center under the Bank of Queensland.
