Meet The Trainers At Body Confidence Australia

Meet Sammy, she is the Owner and Head Trainer at Body Confidence. She was born in the UK where she qualified as a Personal Trainer 7 years ago. She then moved to Australia  in 2017 and worked for a few gyms and other Personal Trainers before starting up her own business in Queens Park and then moving her business to a studio space in July 2019. 

Sammy's passionate about helping other people, both in fitness and in general every day life. Her aim is to build a community where by every individual feels comfortable and supported to allow you to be happy and strive for success. 

Sammy is a cardio bunny, she loves to run having completed her first marathon in 2019 and she loves HIIT style training. She does also have a calmer side and since becoming a Pilates instructor in 2017 she takes the time to slow the pace down and engage mind to muscle. 

Sammy has a 2 year old daughter called Lilly and has recently returned from maternity following the birth of her son Arthur, and is now back in the studio part time teaching a few classes and one on one sessions and working with clients on line through the seasonal programs.

Meet Michelle, she has been a gym junkie for around 30 years, and a trainer for 14 years.
She's trained in 5 Les Mills programs, and is qualified in yoga, boxing and even Zumba 😊 
Michelle is passionate about helping people with their health and fitness goals. 
You wouldn't believe it from looking at her however Michelle is a mum to 4 awesome kids, Moo Moo of 5 grand-kids and partner to a great guy, she is grateful to see them all regularly and treasure's her family time.
Michelle love's weekends - and is usually renovating, socializing, training or just hanging out. 
Fitness has always been a huge part of her life and now yoga has become just as important. The benefits, both physically and mentally have helped her deal with everything life has thrown her way in recent years. 
She likes to live by the motto ~

Meet Rio, she is a mum to 3 children, 1 boy and 2 girls and 2 very old Mini Fox Terriers. She has worked for 20 years in the community Aged Care industry and is extremely passionate about people staying fit and strong no matter their age.

In 2017 she decided to make a drastic change to her working life and obtained her Personal Training qualification. This was one of the most rewarding things she said she has ever done. Originally a Brisbane girl, she moved to Toowoomba in January 2020 and now enjoys the quieter pace the beautiful inland city offers. 

You may see Rio out and about as she loves to run and will run on average 50-60k every week!

Meet Amy, 
Amy is a mum to 3 gorgeous, polite and very energetic boys! So, she has her hands full already however last year through all the chaos Amy gained her qualification as a Group Fitness instructor and we snapped her up straight away!
Amy's background is in education. She has taught in primary classrooms in Goondiwindi, Toowoomba, Dalby and Rockhampton before starting her family. She majored in Health and Physical Education as she believes encouraging young people to be active and involved in sports promotes a lifelong love of physical activity. Amy is now completing her Personal Training certificate as adult fitness training can be more flexible around her growing family. 
She is currently running the mum's classes in Highfields and will do the occasional class in Toowoomba.

Meet ​Caitlin (or Cait for short) is a passionate personal trainer and clinical nutritionist who follows a holistic and evidence based approach to help her clients achieve balance and wellness.  She has experience with outdoor group training classes and 1:1 with a variety of ages and fitness levels.

Growing up with her own health complications, she has seen how food and exercise can have a powerful impact on how you feel physically, mentally and emotionally.  Her goal is to empower clients to feel confident and happy again. 

Caitlin has a keen interest in gut health, mental health and children's health. She places emphasis on the management and treatment of gut health and how illness and diseases can stem from an imbalanced gut.  

She devotes time to her clients ensuring that they feel nourished as a whole, from the inside out, through diet and movement. "

Meet Liam, 
he is 26 years old and is an avid kick boxer and martial arts lover and has been for over 11        years. His keen interest in this sport along with his own health and fitness journey led him to become a personal trainer so that he can tach others to live a healthy balanced lifestyle like he has. 
Along with his Martial Arts training Liam also loves strength training and spends 5 days a week for 90 minutes at a time working on this. 
You will also find Liam at Kingfisher café, at his second job - so make sure to say hello if your there!
Liam is currently teaching our Men's strength programs, kids Martial Arts programs, group classes and one on one sessions.
